At Xanadu Group, we build stronger, more connected communities across many sectors, including disability, aged care, out-of-home-care and accredited training.
That’s why we’re pleased to share that Helping Solutions (our WA based, registered disability provider) has joined Ageing Australia, the national peak body for aged care providers, and will be sponsoring the Ageing Australia WA State Conference 2026 as a Silver Sponsor.
This milestone reflects Helping Solutions’ expansion into aged care service delivery and Xanadu Group’s broader commitment to developing sustainable, compliant and person‑centred care models during a time of significant sector change.
About the Ageing Australia WA State Conference
The Ageing Australia WA State Conference 2026 is a major, state‑focused event bringing together Western Australian aged care providers, sector leaders, policymakers and innovators.
Held in Perth, the two‑day conference provides a dedicated forum to:
- Explore the future of aged and community care in Western Australia
- Engage with peer providers and sector leaders
- Discuss the practical impacts of policy and funding reform
- Build connections across metropolitan, regional and rural services
For providers operating in WA, the conference plays an important role in ensuring that local service realities and challenges are reflected in broader sector conversations.
Xanadu Group’s Approach to Sector Engagement
Xanadu Group exists to strengthen the organisations within our portfolio so they can deliver supports and services while adapting to changing regulatory, funding and reform environments.
Being a purpose-driven, people-focused organisation committed to quality service delivery, a huge part of our day-to-day is ensuring strong governance and strategic oversight for each of our brands, and this has strengthened our teams to collectively gain a lot of knowledge and insight across sectors.
From ever-constant NDIS reform, to the strict regulatory requirements of aged care, to the challenges that come with delivering OOHC, our teams have truly seen and done it all… and we’re excited to bring those insights to this year’s conference event.
We believe lasting sector improvement is driven by strong operators working together, supported by sound governance and shared learning.
Supporting the Transition to the Support at Home Program
One of the most significant reforms currently facing the aged care sector is the transition to the Support at Home Program, which is replacing existing home care arrangements.
In late 2025, Helping Solutions expanded its service delivery to include Support at Home, operating within governance structures aligned to the Aged Care Quality Standards. This transition has been supported at a group level by Xanadu Group’s existing systems and focus on compliance, risk management and operational readiness.
At the WA State Conference, the Helping Solutions team will be engaging with peers to:
- Share practical insights from delivering Support at Home services
- Discuss what the reform means at an operational and service level
- Exchange ideas around funding, systems, quality assurance and compliance
- Listen to provider experiences, challenges and emerging needs
We understand that collaboration is the way forward in our industry, and what many people miss is that Helping Solutions has not navigated these reforms and changes once or twice. With the backing of Xanadu Group, the greater team have done it constantly, in different industries and sectors, across different teams, measuring against uniquely different frameworks and standards.
These experiences have given us ongoing wisdom and expertise to share when it comes to capable governance, preparedness and supported workforces.

Delivering Care Across Regional and Rural Western Australia
A key focus across the Xanadu Group portfolio is supporting service delivery beyond metropolitan centres, where organisations often face different and more complex challenges. Not only have we done this with our out-of-home-care operations through Helping Community Solutions since we first began, but we have done this through local deployment and hiring of workers for disability and aged care as well.
At the WA State Conference, Helping Solutions will be sharing their unique insights on:
- Delivering Support at Home services in regional and rural settings
- Adapting service models to respond to local community needs
- Building sustainable teams across large geographic areas
Xanadu Group recognises that regional and rural capability is essential to the long‑term success of aged care reform, and values opportunities to elevate these perspectives within the sector.
Innovation and the Future of Aged Care
Innovation is expected to be a key theme at the 2026 conference, including discussion around the role of technology, emerging digital tools in aged care, and reimagining what care looks like in the years to come.
We are particularly looking forward to the interactive workshop and recap on rethinking the discharge pathway with Nick Elmitt (Head of Quality and Research) and A/Prof George Eskander (Executive Director Clinical Transformation & Performance at the Department of Health).
