Are you a Support Worker?

  • Personal care and safe transfers (hoists, slide sheets)

  • Supporting people with complex health needs, including:
    • Dementia
    • Motor Neurone Disease
    • PEG feeding and stoma care
    • Tracheostomy support
    • Palliative care
  • 1:1 support for complex and challenging behaviours
  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent
  • Demonstrated high-care or complex support experience
  • Current Australian driver’s licence and insured vehicle
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
  • First Aid and CPR, plus Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Alignment with Helping Solutions values
  • Flexible availability across weekdays, nights, and weekends

Previous experience in support work, disability, or mental health is highly regarded.

Are you a Therapeutic Youth Worker?

  • Supporting children and young people with complex needs
  • Trauma-informed and therapeutic care approaches
  • Managing challenging behaviours in a calm, respectful way
  • Building strong, safe relationships with young people
  • Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Youth Work, Community Services, or equivalent
  • Experience in OOHC, disability, mental health, or youth services
  • Current driver’s licence and insured vehicle
  • Working With Children Check and relevant clearances
  • First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain)
  • Strong emotional intelligence and communication skills
  • Ability to work confidently in both solo and team-based environments
  • Commitment to safety, consistency, and therapeutic practice
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and sleepovers

Are you an accredited trainer?

  • Accredited First Aid, CPR, and emergency response training
  • Engaging, practical, and compliant face-to-face sessions
  • Training for corporate, community, and disability settings

 

  • Current TAE qualification (TAE40122 or equivalent)
  • Relevant First Aid units (HLTAID009, 011, 012)
  • Experience delivering accredited training
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Valid Working With Children Check
  • Professional, approachable training style
  • Reliability and strong time management
  • Commitment to quality training outcomes
  • Availability for weekday, evening, or weekend delivery
